Don’t let the pictures fool you. There are NO small pieces to cut in this pattern. This modern quilt pattern is part of the "Magic Tricks" series. All the patterns in this series use a 5" strip and a 2 1/2" strip, and just like magic it creates two different blocks. This one uses two light fabrics, two dark fabrics, sashing, cornerstones and borders to give it a totally different look. Instructions include Baby, Twin, Queen and King sizes. The Baby size can also be used for a Wall Hanging or Table Topper. (For extra help with perfect sashing and cornerstones, see my “Simply Sashing” pattern.)
The modern style of this pattern makes it a great option for a baby gift or for other special occasions. This is one of my favorites in the series. Maybe it’s the minky on the back or the batiks, but it just makes me smile and want to wrap up in it.
