This pattern blends the traditional Dresden Plate pattern with the convenience of the modern jelly roll to simplify the creation of a beautiful quilt. It is actually quick and easy to do. A template is included; just add it to your existing favorite ruler for accurate cutting. Using a Jelly Roll, you will have enough to create this quilt PLUS a matching wall hanging OR two matching pillow shams with a half dresden plate on each.

1 Jelly Roll or 1 Layer Cake cut in 2 1/2” strips
Background Fabric: 3 yards
Borders #1, #3, #4 & #6, Centers of Plates: 1 3/4 yards
Border #2 & #5: 2 yards
Binding: 5/8 yard

Wall Hanging: 44” Square
1 Jelly Roll OR 40 pieces 2 1/2” wide x 10” minimum
Background Fabric: 1 yard
Borders #1 & #3, Centers of Plates: 1/2 yard
Border #2: 1/2 yard
Binding: 1/2 yard
