Don't let the pictures fool you. There are NO small pieces to cut in this pattern. It is part of the "Magic Tricks" series. All the patterns in this series use a 5" strip and a 2 1/2" strip, and just like magic it creates two different blocks that, in turn can be made in sizes from Baby through King. The main picture is made using three coordinated prints and one background. By changing the fabrics to two or even one fabric plus the background, you have entirely different look. There are currently seven patterns available in this series, with more coming. I have taught this in a class setting and several students ended up making multiple quilts by this pattern. One made one for each of her 5 grandchildren and one made 10 for Christmas!
